Branko is a premium craft rakija from Belgrade Urban Distillery (BUD) in Belgrade's Dorćol district, founded by Branko Nešić. BUD describes itself as the first open-type micro distillery in Belgrade.
The rakijas are made from fruit alone, with no additives, and double distilled in small copper pot stills. The Premium line covers plum, apricot and quince, while the Traditional line adds Williams pear and apple. Plum Premium blends plum distillates aged at least two years in Serbian oak and is bottled at 50% ABV with no added sugar.
