Vinarija Čitluk

Location
Čitluk, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Founded
1958
Varieties
Žilavka, Blatina

Vinarija Čitluk traces its start to 1958, when its first vineyard of native Žilavka and Blatina was planted at Dubrave near Međugorje. Today it has more than 300 hectares of its own vineyards and a capacity of 110,000 hectolitres.

Kameno is a dry Žilavka from the 100-hectare vineyard of the same name on the stony Brotnjo plateau, planted between 1981 and 1984, and has been made since 1990. Kameno and the dry red Blatina de Broto are among its most sought-after wines.
