Steyer is a family estate in Plitvica near Apače, in Slovenian Styria. It calls itself the House of Fragrant Traminer and is led by Danilo Steyer, the third generation of the family to grow grapes.
Gewürztraminer is made dry, off-dry and semi-sweet, alongside Ranina, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt and the Steyer Vaneja sparkling wine. The wines are certified vegan, and the estate says it uses no herbicides.
