Adami
- Location
- Valdobbiadene, Italy
Adami is a family estate in Colbertaldo di Vidor, in the Valdobbiadene area of the Veneto, devoted to Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG. In 1933 Abele Adami presented Riva Giardino asciutto, the first single-vineyard bottling in Valdobbiadene's history. Since 1980 the estate has been run by the third generation, brothers Franco and Armando Adami, both winemakers.
The house is known for a dry style with little sugar. For the wines at the top of the range, the second fermentation in tank runs longer, around 60 to 90 days.
