Bastianich is a family winery founded in 1997 in the hills of the Colli Orientali del Friuli. Its roughly 40 hectares of vineyards are split between the area around Buttrio and Premariacco, warmed by air from the sea, and Cividale del Friuli, where the bora wind keeps them cool.
The winery concentrates on native Friulian grapes: Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Schioppettino. Its wines include Vespa Bianco and Vespa Rosso.
